A Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) Scholarship – The Trumbull County Chapter of A. Philip Randolph Institute will be awarding scholarships of at least $1,000 to Trumbull County High School students. An essay of not more than 600 words on “How Do You Think People in Today’s Society Are Being Judged and How Should We Change Those Perceptions?” along with the application, student’s bio and photo, and a statement indicating what their future plans will be. Please stop in the guidance area for an application. Deadline: Applications and essays must be post-marked by Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
Sigma Phi Epsilon - The Balanced Man Scholarship - The nation's largest fraternity is offering multiple Balanced Man Scholarships totalling over $14,000 to outstanding freshmen males attending one of the following universities: The Ohio State University, The University of Cincinnati, Bowling Green State University, The University of Toledo and University of Miami. To qualify, students must be enrolled as a full-time student at the main campus at one of these universities for the 2012-13 school year and must apply online at www.sigepbms.com by the following deadlines: July 1, 2012 for The Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, Bowling Green State University, and University of Toledo; and September 23, 2012 for Miami University.
