  • Warren Civic League - The Warren Civic League is an African-American women's civic and social organization that has served the greater Warren area for over 50 years, awards several scholarships each year to deserving African-American scholars to assist in their continuing education.  Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above, have met the End of Course Points (18 points) or the Alternative Option 1 or Option II.   An application can be picked up in the School Counselor's Office.  Deadline:   April 6, 2019.

  • William D. Squires Educational Foundation, Inc. - $5,000 - 20 Awards.  The William D. Squires Educational Foundation, Inc. Scholarship is primarily financial need-based.   • Youngstown State University 2019 Trailblazer Scholarship -  $2000.00 - Renewable for 6 Semesters if applicant maintains a 3.0 GPA.  YSU began as an institution of higher learning for those who had a desire to attain a college education and who possesses a passion to improve their lives and their communities.  Must be a high school graduate and be considered an incoming freshman for the fall 2019.  Applications must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and an ACT composite of 19 or a SAT composite of 990.  Applicant must also be a member of the following ethnic groups:  African American or Pan-African, Asian or Pan-Asian, Latino/Latinx, Middle Easterny (Arab or Israeli) etc. AND/OR must be a "First Generation" college student (meaning, neither parent has a 4-year college degree from any country.  Stop in the School Counselor's Office for an Application.  Deadline: April 15, 2019
