  • Ohio Township Association Scholarships  -  2015 Scholarshp program was made possible by a generous donation from former board member Paul Smith and his wife Ethel, in 2005.  The OTA provides the scholarships to help educate high school students about local government opportunities and further their education. High school seniors who are U.S. citizens, reside in an Ohio township, and plan to attend a two-or-four year OHIO college or univeristy in the fall of 2015 are eligible. Three scholarships are available in the amount of $1,500 each. There are two categories:  Local Government Achievement (two scholarships awarded) and Academic Achievement (one scholarship awarded). You must be able to demonstrate outstanding citizenship through service and participation in community activities to be eligible for the Local Government Achiuevement Scholarship. To apply for the Academic Achievement Scholarship, you must have a B average (cumulative) or at least a 22 ACT or 1000 SAT score.

  • Seven Seventeen Credit Union - This program recognizes the academic achievement and community involvement of high school seniors from its membership base and their immediate family.  The Campus Scholarship Committee of one of the following universities - the University of Akron, Youngstown State University, or Kent State University administers their own award. Each committee is composed of administrators, faculty and students. In addition to the University scholarships, Seven Seventeen also awards TWO post-secondary scholarships to graduating high school seniors that are members of its cha-ching Teen Club and TWO post-secondary scholarship awards to young adults that are members of the edge club.   • Trumbull Business College - Trumbull Business College participates in two scholarship programs:
    • ​The Imagine America Foundation (IAF) offers a scholarship to high school seniors planning to attend a career college.  Five IAF scholarships are available to each high school.  The scholarship award amount is $1000.  This scholarship is to be applied toward one of our on-campus programs.  For more information you may go to www.trumbull.edu.
    • The Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools (OACCS), in cooperation with legislative members of the Ohio General Assembly, has established 220 scholarships.  Trumbull Business College offers five OACCS Legislative scholarships that will cover one-half of the program tuition, approximately $12,100.  Each scholarship has a submission deadline of APRIL 10 and is to be applied toward one of our on-campus programs.  For more information you may go to www.trumbull.edu.
