Congratulations talent show performers. The list of performers will be posted outside room 928 on Monday. Great job to ALL who auditioned. It will be another great show!

 

Attention students and staff: There will be a quick resale on Viking Nation T-shirts, since many people were not able to purchase them. Please see Ms. Moore or Caleb Hineman with any questions. T-Shirts can be purchased in room 922. Money is due Friday, March 3rd.

 

Attention all German Club student: The German club apparel is officially on sale! The T-shirts are $11.00 and there are long-sleeve and sweatshirt options as well. Please see Frau Cusimano or a German Club officer for more information. 

Attention SADD students: If you would like to participate in the preparation of PSA, please meet after school in Mrs. Frederick's room next Monday, February 27th. 

Attention OSAIC: There will be a meeting next Wednesday, March 1st, after school in room 928. This is a working meeting and ALL members are expected to be there.

 

In sports news:

 

Turning to the weather: Today will be around 72 with partly sunny skies and maybe a rain shower.

 

In the cafeteria today: Meatball sub OR chicken parmesan sandwiches, streak fries, green beans, and carrot sticks.

 

And our thought for the day: Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters!

Attention talent show performers: the last auditions will take place TODAY after school in the auditorium. Please come prepared with your music, instruments, and other props. If you are NOT prepared by today, you will not be in the show. ALL OSAIC members are expected to attend auditions.

 

Attention SADD students: If you would like to participate in the preparation of PSA, please meet after school in Mrs. Frederick's room next Monday, February 27th. 

Attention OSAIC: There will be a meeting next Wednesday, March 1st, after school in room 928. This is a working meeting and ALL members are expected to be there.

 

Attention Drama Club: there will be Drama Club rehearsals TODAY after school. See Mrs. Stilwell with any questions.

In sports news:

 

Turning to the weather: Today will be around 66 with some rain showers. Tomorrow will be around 72 with partly sunny skies.

 

In the cafeteria today: National Chili Day! Cup of chili, french fries, and corn bread.

 

And our thought for the day: The difference between winning and losing is most often NOT quitting!

Attention talent show performers: auditions will take place TODAY and Thursday Feb. 23 after school in the auditorium. Please come prepared with your music, instruments, and other props. If you are NOT prepared by Thursday, you will not be in the show. ALL OSAIC members are expected to attend auditions.

 

Attention OSAIC: There will be a meeting during lunch TODAY in room 928. This is an important meeting and all members are expected to attend. There is NO meeting after school today.

 

Attention Drama Club: there will be Drama Club rehearsals Wednesday and Thursday after school this week. See Mrs. Stilwell with any questions.

Attention Seniors: The local scholarships are now available! Scholarships must be signed out, and returned to the counselor’s office TODAY.

In sports news: Congratulations to the Boys bowling team as they were named the AAC Conference Champions yesterday! Cody Clendenin was named MVP for his 2-game series of 424. Kyle Frederick, Blake Maurer, and Mason Persons were named to the AAC All-Star Conference Tournament team. It was a sweep for the Vikes, and a great way to end the season. Way to go!

 

Turning to the weather: Today will be around 60 with a few rain showers. Tomorrow will be around 64 with sunshine!

 

In the cafeteria today: Hot ham and cheese OR beef and cheddar, seasoned curly fries, and hummus with celery sticks.

 

And our thought for the day: Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction! Break the habit…Talk about your joys!

Attention talent show performers: auditions will take place next Tuesday, Feb. 21st and Thursday Feb. 23 after school in the auditorium. Please come prepared with your music, instruments, and other props. If you are NOT prepared by Thursday, you will not be in the show. ALL OSAIC members are expected to attend auditions.

 

Attention OSAIC: There will be a meeting during lunch next Tuesday, February 21st in room 928. This is an important meeting and all members are expected to attend. There is NO meeting after school today.

 

Attn Ski Club:  Bus leaves at 3 pm sharp TODAY. Bring extra money for our traditional stop on the way home.

Attention students: Any boy interested in playing baseball this year, mandatory practice will begin Monday, February 20th from 5 to 7pm.

Attention SADD members: We will be meeting TODAY in room 927- Mrs. Kistler's room. Lunch will be provided.

 

Attention Seniors: The local scholarships are now available! Scholarships must be signed out, and returned to the counselor’s office by next Tuesday, February 21st.

Attention All students: The last day to sign up for the Talent Show is TODAY!!. Tryouts will be next Tuesday, February 21st and Thursday, February 23rd after school. The talent show is Friday, March 24th

 

Attn Ski Club:  Bus leaves at 3 pm sharp TOMORROW. Bring extra money for our traditional stop on the way home.

Attention Soccer Players: Conditioning will be this afternoon and will meet at the field house after school at 3:00.  All participants must have permission slips signed and turned in today before you can work out. If you have questions, please see Mr. Klotzbach

Attention SADD members, there will be a meeting during lunch TOMORROW in room 922. Lunch will be provided!

Attention All students: It’s that time of the year again for Talent show sign-ups! Please sign up outside room 928. The last day to sign up is next Wednesday, February 15th. The National Honor Society would like to thank all students and staff that donated to the food drive. We took over 750 pounds of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank which they equate that to over 1500 meals for local families in need.  The top class with only 5 students in it was Mr. Dimuzio. Congratulations!! Mrs. Farone's homeroom was just behind them with only 10 less cans. Good job!  Both Homerooms will be provided with breakfast from Panera provided by the NHS. Again, great job everyone.
