Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

ATTENTION SKI CLUB: Ski club will resume Thursday.

There will be a student council meeting this Thursday during lunch in the lounge across from the cafeteria. 

Students: If you are a Senior and currently working at the Hot Dog Shoppe, please stop in the Guidance Office THIS WEEK for a possible Scholarship opportunity.

Attention Seniors:  Jostens will be here TOMORROW, during lunch for senior cap & gown and announcement delivery. Any unpaid balances can be paid at this time.

Yearbooks are now on sale.  Cost is $55.00. Order forms are available in Mrs. Aldridge’s room #909.

Attention Students: It’s that time of the year again for the LaBrae’s Got Talent Show! Sign-ups will be in room 928 and will begin today and run through Friday. Auditions will be next week after school. Listen for announcements for audition days. The talent show will March 23^rd. If you sing, dance, juggle, lip-sync (One Direction!), play an instrument or are the next mega band we want YOU to be in the show. Please see any OSAIC member or Mrs. Gilbert with any questions or conflicts.

Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

Attention SADD members: SADD t-shirt money is DUE Thursday, tomorrow! SADD fundraising money is due next Tuesday, February 20th!

Attention ski club:  Last ski club trip is TOMORROW, Thursday, February 15th.  Bus leaves at 3:00 pm sharp.  This is early release day, therefore make sure you have a ride to school.  We will be stopping at the rest stop for something to eat after, so bring extra money if you want to participate.

In sports news…Congratulations to LaBrae’s bowling teams. Mason Persons and Molly Jones advanced to districts. Mason and Molly will be bowling on February 24^th at Wedgewood in Austintown. Way to go Vikes!

There will be a mandatory Physics Olympics meeting during lunch Friday for any student that is participating. You must attend to discuss important information. See Miss Farone with any questions. 

Any High School girl interested in trying out for the 2018-19 LaBrae Majorette line please see Mr. Steigerwald for an application. Practice starts Tuesday February 13^th. Tryouts are Tuesday February 27th.

Spanish Club and German Club will be hosting a scavenger hunt at the Eastwood Mall this Sunday, February 11th, from 3-5 pm. Dinner afterwards at Steak and Shake is optional. If you are interested sign-ups are available in Frau’s or Señora Fee’s room. (2-4 people) per team.

In sports news: The LV Strike squad knocked down another win yesterday against Liberty. Posting a new career high was Kalia Benner with a 220.  Molly Jones also provided support with a game high 357 series. Way to go LV Strike squad!

Any High School girl interested in trying out for the 2018-19 LaBrae Majorette line please see Mr. Steigerwald for an application. Practice starts Tuesday February 13^th. Tryouts are Tuesday February 27th.

Anyone interested in a ski trip with Niles Ski Club to Seven Springs ski Resort Saturday February 10th, see Mrs. Kovac-Silvers in room 921.

The LaBrae Yearbook will begin selling the 2018 LaBrae Yearbooks. Cost is $55.00. Your 1st period teacher will be passing out order forms or you may see Mrs. Aldridge in Room 909.  Return all order forms to Mrs. Aldridge in room 909.
