Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

 

Those students who drive to school:  Drivers are no longer permitted to drive to school without a parking permit.

 

If you signed up for SADD there is mandatory meeting on Friday during lunch in room 922.

 

Attention current National Honor Society members: There will be a meeting today during lunch in room 924. We will be electing officers and discussing this year's Buddy Walk. 

 

Attention all freshmen who are helping to plan Spirit week. There will be a meeting during lunch in Señora Fee's room on today to finalize plans.

 

Attention Spanish club members, there will be an important meeting on Friday during lunch in Señora Fee's room. You will be voting for this year's officers and discussing activities for the year.

 

The library is officially open.

 

THE 2017 LABRAE YEARBOOKS ARE IN. IF YOU ORDERED ONE OR WOULD LIKE TO BUY ONE, YOU MAY STOP IN MRS. ALDRIDGE'S ROOM 909 AT THE BEGINNING OF LUNCH, OR AFTER SCHOOL. PLEASE DO NOT INTERRUPT HER CLASSES.

 

The LaBrae Lady Vikings Varsity Soccer team posted another shutout Monday night

in front of their home crowd by defeating Maplewood 6 - 0.  Marissa Roberts scored

4 goals and Paige Wilson and Emma Jones each had 1.  Haley Hazinakis had 2 assists and Paige Wilson and Desi Allen had 1 each.  Hannah Hill had 4 saves.

The Lady Vikings are now 3-3 and 2-0 in the AAC.  Their next game is at home on

tonight against Jefferson.  

 

Congratulations to  the varsity boys cross country team for placing 2nd overall at the Suburban league meet at Badger last night.  Jakob Rose came in 1st place, Zach Meyer 12th, Adam Nottingham 15th and Connor Meyer 16th out of 125 runners.

Chloe Rose finished 19th and Ariell Groubert finished 21st of 105 runners.  

 

Great job to: Connor Meyer, Austin Stassinis, Cole Faler, Joe Cusimano, Brady Phillips, Mathew Biery, Colin Price, Ariell Groubert and Mikaela Thompson .  All for beating their personal records
